BUSINESS GRANTS

Invest in your business. Strengthen your workforce.

In February 2026, Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council (PacMtn) offered Business Investment Grants to support small businesses across our five-county region.

With funding provided through the Washington State Department of Commerce Community Reinvestment Project (CRP), this grant is designed to help all small businesses - especially those led or owned by people from historically marginalized communities - access the funding and resources they need to grow and thrive. Grant funds can support practical investments like expanding operations, purchasing equipment, strengthening employee training, and making cost-saving improvements that help create and keep jobs, build stability for workers and families, and strengthen our local economy.

The application period for this grant closed on February 12, 2026. However, you can still learn about the grant details below.

Funding details

You may request up to $6,000, however, to help us support more small businesses across the region, we encourage requests under $4,000 whenever possible. All applications will be reviewed based on available funding.

What the grant can support

Your request must align with at least one of the following focus areas:

  • Capacity building (e.g., tools, equipment, systems, or services that help you operate more effectively)
  • Sustainability (e.g., cost-saving improvements, efficiencies, or upgrades that strengthen long-term stability)
  • Hiring employees
  • Retaining employees
  • Employee training and development

Your application must include a clear description of how you’ll use the funds and an itemized list of proposed expenses.
